  • Amazing

Smith is one strong loving man. Belle is one amazing sexy woman. Loved the twist and turns in this story. Couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Love the connection and chemistry between Smith and Belle. Can’t wait to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Breathe Me left me breathless!

I missed Smith and Belle and loved being back in this author’s Royals world, just like I have with every book in the whole series. This could be considered a standalone book or an entry point to their story, but I think you need to know and understand everything Belle and Smith have been through to reach this point. The beginning of this book with their happiness made me smile and have happy tears. As the book progressed, I wondered if their life could truly be happy. Then by the end I was shocked, gasping and left breathless by a doozy of a cliffhanger! I felt deeply for Belle and Smith with the happenings in this book, and I can’t wait to read their next book! I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.

  • What a cliff-hanger! Can't wait 2 c what happens!

I only found Ms. Lee a short time ago, and have fallen in love with her writing. Everyday problems deserve their place and she did a great job showing reality in her fiction. Smith was amazing with Belle and her issues. I had not realized this was a duet, and man, what a cliff-hanger! Can't wait to see what happens! (Edward; be-still my heart. What does Ms. Lee have planned for him?) 4+*s I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

  • Thrilling read dealing with some heavy issues

This book in the series focuses on Smith and Belle. Whether they like it or not, they are tied to the royal family and as such have been involved in a fair share of drama, danger, and intrigue. With Belle pregnant with their first child, Smith wants to protect his family and take them out of the line of fire surrounding the crown. He has bought an estate in Sussex, although Belle isn’t quite so excited yet about the move. Belle misses her best friends, Clara and Edward, and also struggles to help Edward in his grief. A surprise discovery during the remodeling of their new home forces them back to London for a while. I won’t give away too much, but let’s just say that being in London again reminds Smith of why he wanted to leave in the first place. After the baby is born, the relocate to their new estate, but all is not bliss. This book deals with some tough themes, such as miscarriage and post-partum depression, as well as some mysterious things to do with the estate. Did they just buy an old house with some expected skeletons in its closet, or is something more sinister going on? As a childfree person, I don’t have any personal experience with miscarriage or post-partum depression, so I cannot testify as to the authenticity of the way these themes are handled in this book. Also, they don’t pose a trigger to me. In my opinion, Geneva presented these subjects in a respectful way that helps build the narrative. I did wonder, though, whether the mysteries of the estate’s past are a contributing factor. I guess we’ll have to wait to find out...
