    Hilarious, romantic, and highly entertaining!

Bridesmaids is a spirited, deliciously scandalous tale that takes us into the life of Jane and some of her mates from school as the preparations for the upcoming nuptials of one of their own will cause revelations to be revealed, secrets to be exposed, and true love to be found. The writing is witty and light. The characters are quirky, vibrant, and endearing. And the plot is an engaging, funny tale full of secrets, misgivings, friendship, chemistry, humorous mishaps, tricky moments, awkward situations, romantic drama, and self-reflection. Overall, Bridesmaids is an uplifting, comical, refreshing read by Stoneley that I think would be perfect for fans of chaotically charming, contemporary romance novels.

    Not my fave

Jane was dumped during her hen party. Her bestie Rachel is getting married but Jane knows he’s not The One for her. So much miscommunication, crazy bantering, and hilarious bickering. In the end it was funny and ended well. It was hard for me to read with the intercontinental references that don’t translate as easily in American in my head. It was a bit convoluted and I found myself forgetting who was speaking at times. Parts were predictable for sure.

    Bridesmaids - Zara Stoneley

An enjoyable read and a lesson learned - don't assume you have your story straight when you only have half the facts!

    A Fabulous, Light-Hearted Read

A fabulous, light-hearted read with plenty of high and lows; I've giggled my way through this one! The very last thing Jane wants to do is attend a wedding. When her very best friend, Rachel, announces she is getting married to the man she broke up and whom Jane knows is a cheating liar, she sticks a smile on her face and agrees to be chief bridesmaid, despite her own planned wedding turning out to be a non-event. Along with Sally and Maddie, they all vow to make Rachel's day the best it can be - but both these two are in love with Jack, and one of them is his wife. And then there's Beth .. with her young son in tow and no-one knowing who the baby daddy is. What can possibly go wrong? This novel has it all. Sadness, happiness and everything in between. It's the kind of read where you find yourself egging on various characters several times over until they actually do what you want! I have, once again, got a very bemused husband as I have spluttered and chuckled repeatedly. It's a well-thought out story, well-written and with many lively characters - all entertaining in their own way; I have loved everything about it. Most definitely a book to brighten your day, and fully deserving of a full house of bright, sparkling stars!

Witty page turner filled with delicious secrets

This was my first book by the author so I had no idea what to expect, which is always exciting, and I was blown away by it! Funny and crazy, hilarious and downright a pleasure to read from start to finish. Which did not take more than a few hours, in one sitting! Intriguing characters with a storyline that was fun to read and so many secrets to keep track of! No wonder poor Jane can't keep up! It's a mess! And sweet Freddie just has your heart pitter patterning from his first introduction. Loved all the characters and their dynamics and interactions and overall this read was a real good time, a great way to pass an afternoon and very well written. Well done to the author, I would be remiss not to give it five glowing stars! " I received a Netgalley copy of this book and have freely given it this well deserved review "
