    The most beautiful writing ever

I didn't think I'd like this book but when I saw that Armie Hammer, whom I've liked in previous movies was going to be in it, I thought I'd check it out while waiting on the movie. This was easily one of the most well written books I've ever read. It's a beautiful, sad, coming of age story about first love. Even if you can't identify initially with the story as it's MM, everyone will relate to the feelings Ezio has as he admires/becomes infatuated with someone from afar.

    Beautiful

Nice to read such a well written love story about two men that doesn’t involve illness, homophobia, coming out or other gay struggles.

    Heartbreaking

Wonderfully written, directly finding its way to your heart without being cheesy. One of the rare books that I can read over and over again... it will break your heart and make it fuller at the same time.

    Amazing and thought provoking

This was a great book to read. Every chapter made you think about your youth, first love and life. You start think about how ones identity is so interconnected to everything that you are, as you read and finish each chapter. It's a great love story, that ends with the same amount of love found.

    Heartbreaking

This book made me look at the character not as homosexuals or bisexuals or heterosexuals but just 2 normal human beings who fell in love with each other. The story is so unique yet so familiar at the same time. It has one of the most heartbreaking endings ever.
