  • "Celo's Quest" - Book 8 - Dragons of Incendium

I just finished reading this short story February 17, 2018. This is my review. This short story is about Celo, Venero's brother (Wyvern's Prince - book 3). It's not meant to be read as a stand alone because you have to know the background story for the series to understand the significance of the information being given. That being said, this short story in the series fills in more information about how the Dragons of Incendium came into existence. Celo is a Prince of Regalia, a loner who can communicate with animals. When he stumbles upon a real live dragon, he's told the history of how dragon shifters were created and he's given a quest to search for other real, full dragons. The ending of this short story teases the reader as to another pairing of an Incendium Princess and her HeartKeeper. Short and to the point, this story gives the reader background info about Incendium and Regalia. Very informative for the series as a whole. I liked it.

  • excellent short story

In this excellent short story Prince Celo, previously something of a hermit who communed with wild animals, is advised by his friendly raven Nix to set out on a journey to Mount Draco. To his shock, Draco turns out to be a long sleeping dragon who relates to Celo the story of his kind, setting him on a quest to find and reunite the surviving dragons. Along the way, yet another princess of Incendium seems to have scented her "Carrier of the Seed." This prologue to the next Incendium story leaves intriguing clues as to the next installment. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

    Thanks for your feedback!
