    One more Christmas with Stuart

This is a delightful compilation of Stuart McLean's Christmas stories which makes the reader laugh and yet miss Stuart so much! Christmas couldn't begin at our house until we had heard Stuart's latest Christmas story and even share many of our favourites. I still can't cook a Christmas turkey without thinking about Butch! This is a wonderful book with his last story about Christmas cards that we didn't get to hear him read. But as one who still sends out cards each year, I could identify with Morley's dilemma. Thanks you so much, Stuart, and we will miss you for a long time. Your stories are such a part of Canada's tapestry of which we are all a part.

    Christmas Fun

Stuart Maclean’s Vinyl Cafe stories are all funny, but his Christmas stories offer hilarity in a time of year when it is much needed. Winter is often a time of darkness, but these stories shine with a happy glow. Whether it’s Dave Cooks the Turkey’s high octane hijinks or the thoughtful humour of Rashida and Amir’s Gift-giving, these tales lift spirits and tickle ribs for all who read them. The only thing better was listening to Stuart himself read them for his live concert audiences. I can rarely read one without dissolving into laughter.
