  • Captivating

The opening grabbed me as I always want a novel to do. Lots of characters are introduced to placate the never ending need to find the suspects. A very different & intriguing location for the main plot. Quick read with escapist quality.

  • City of the Lost

The mystery was a strong who dunnit, with an unusual setting and interesting cast of characters that I quite enjoyed but the romance killed it.

  • City of the Lost

An absolute page turner, full of unexpected twists. Couldn't put it down.Start reading only if you have enough time to finish it right away.

  • Good thrilling debut of a new series

I don't expect much about this book but Kelley Armstrong is proven to be a good author once again. Casey Duncan & her friend Diana go into hiding into a small, hidden town called Rockton, isolated in the Yukon wilderness. Casey and the sheriff, Eric Dalton , are trying to find a serial killer among the small community where everyone is running away from their violent past & lie about their identities. Once I start the book, it was very hard to pause because it's a very enjoyable read and the characters are quite interesting.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed

Great plot, interesting storyline. More along the lines of the Nadia Stafford books than the Otherworld Series. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new read.
