    A Fantastic Thriller!

    I seem to be the only person who has never read a book from the DI Kim Stone Series or any other novel by Angela Marsons. Well, where have been all this time? I have read one now! “Dead Memories” (in case anyone, like me, didn’t know) is the latest Kim Stone story by Angela Marsons. “Dead Memories” is fine as a stand-alone book, but it does appear that, by not reading the other nine novels in the series, I have missed out on a lot of back-stories from previous books. Of course, I now plan to read the first book of the series, “Silent Scream,” followed by the rest of them. This tenth novel in the DI Kim Stone series is set in the Midlands. In Chaucer House, two teenagers are found chained to a radiator. The boy is dead but the girl is still alive. Every detail of the scene mirrors DI Kim Stone’s terrifying experience with her brother, Mikey when they lived in the same tower block thirty years ago. When more bodies are discovered in a burnt-out car, Kim can’t ignore the chilling similarity to the deaths of Erica and Keith – the only loving parents Kim had ever known. Can Kim solve this complex case and save her own life or will she become the final victim? I thoroughly enjoyed reading “Dead Memories.” I thought the premise was fascinating and I loved Angela Marsons’ writing style. This great, fast-paced thriller held my attention throughout and I had no idea as to the identity of the perpetrator. “Dead Memories” is a superb read which I have no hesitation in recommending. {Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for a free copy and for giving me the opportunity to provide an honest review.}

    Dead Memories

    I would rate this novel a solid 4-1/2 stars! You would think after 10 books that the format would get stale ...but no, Ms. Marsons's Kim Stone and company seems to get better and better! Each book seems to peel back one more layer of Kim Stone that we had not heard about in other books! In future books, I do hope Kim finds some well earned peace and maybe someone to share it with (hint, hint!!) I do agree with fellow reviewers ...it is best to read the books from start to finish ...there is just a bit more clarity in reading it in proper order! Anything from this author is gold and if you love this genre, you won't be disappointed

    dead memories

    as always...amazing novel in this series The backgrojnd into Kim Stone's life is heartbreaking but I love the way the characters come together. Still miss Dawson but warming up to Penn.
