  • Entertaining book

This was a very well-written, entertaining book. Lila and Rhys are very attracted to each other, but they don't know what they can trust, and there is danger around them. I loved getting to know each of them and the partnership they developed. The book moved quickly and I didn't want to put it down, but didn't want it to end, either. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #3 in the DragonFate Novels series. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book, this series and this author.

  • a worthy and enjoyable addition to the series

Rhys, a dragon shifter and chef, feels the flare of the firestorm that is pulling him inexorably to his soulmate—a seal? When the seal transforms into the gorgeous selkie Lila, Rhys has to convince her that the firestorm is real and worth fulfilling with him. Along with the firestorm issues, the Dragons are threatened by Maeve, a powerful being whose goal is to exterminate all the mixed breed creatures. The DragonFate warriors, along with their mates and allies, have to work together to preserve all the “Others.” Ms. Cooke is wonderful at world building, as well as creating a lush background for her characters. DragonHeart is a worthy and enjoyable addition to the DragonFate series. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
