February in Atlantis by Alyssa Day

February in Atlantis by Alyssa Day The second novella in the Atlantis warrior series. Can be read as a stand alone but it does end with a cliff hanger. More it’s not a complete story but expected to wrap in the March book. Instant connection and sparks between the hero and heroine. It seems they have both been wandering, incomplete until now. I like how instant attraction pulls a couple together quickly. Moves quickly and held my attention. Looking forward to book 3.

    Must read!!!!

Jake, son of Adeodatus, thought that he was helping the Fae that was captured by the ship he was in. However Poseidon has other plans for him like becoming a warrior for him. Savannah Hastings works as a temp for Humanity Prime and when she finds out that they are just like the KKK. But Savannah must finish the week or she won't have a job in order to travel the world. Be prepare for a cliffhanger that will leave a reader wanting more!!!! Alyssa Day is a shinning star in writing. I was given an ARC in exchange of my honest opinion.

    Love the love interest!

This latest book in the Poseidon’s Warriors series is a great interlude. There was romance, action, mystery, and humor all rolled up in a great package. We are introduced to Savannah, Jake’s mate, and I really loved her character! She was very forthright, and I loved her feistiness. Ms. Day is excellent at making a few words seem so full of plot and greatness which is why I love her writing. Be warned there was a cliffhanger, but I wasn’t taken aback by it; it just made me anxious for the next book. I can’t wait to see what the next book holds for us readers, and I can’t wait for the other characters to meet their matches. Highly recommend! I was provided the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

"February in Atlantis"- Book 2 Poseidon's Warriors

I liked it. This book is about Jake, one of Poseidon's newest warriors and Savannah, a human woman who finds herself working for a paranormal hate group. Jake is one of Poseidon's newest warriors and his mission is to infiltrate a hate group. He may have just found his way in when he meets Savannah. Savannah is a temp, traveling the world and working wherever she goes. She never expected to get a job for a group of nationalists trying to destroy all paranormal creatures. When Jake and Savannah meet, the attraction between them is explosive. But there's no time for falling in love. Not when teammates are in trouble. This book ends on a major CLIFFHANGER. Unfortunately, even though it's September, the next book "March in Atlantis" did not come out yet. The author states that "March in Atlantis" will be out later this month. I can't wait to see what happens to Savannah and if Jake will be able to save his teammates! I've been waiting a long time for the next book so hopefully it will be out soon. I look forward to reading the next one.

    Jake’s Story

Alyssa Day -February in Atlantis: A Poseidon’s Warriors Paranormal Romance The Atlantis series by Alyssa Day has always been a favorite of mine, she has created a detailed world and characters to fully immerse yourself in. So, when the author announced there will be a year of one Atlantis Poseidon’s Warriors book released a month I was ecstatic. Each month concentrates on one of the new Elite Warriors group that is led by Denal. This month is Jake’s story. Although he looks to be an easy going “Surfer Dude” on the outside, he is a tough focused warrior. His current assignment is to intercept a group that is racist against any paranormal beings, and on top of that there is a counter group looking to infiltrate this “Humane Prime” convention and cause some serious violence. Savannah loves to travel and takes temporary assignments all over providing her a way to see the world. It took a couple of weeks before Savannah finds out what kind of human elitist group Human Prime is and she is horrified. Worse her boss has blackmailed her into working the next day when she tries to quit. From the time they meet Jake and Savannah feel a strong connection. Savannah ends up being drawn into this dangerous assignment the Poseidon’s Warriors face. Loved this addition to the series (despite the cliffhanger) and am so glad it wont be long until “March in Atlantis” is released.
