    Hot, Filthy and absolutely magical

This book was so much more than anything I have ever read. It made hot and happy , sad and angry. Most of all it was home for me. Love is love is love and that's all that matter...that is home

The Frisky Beavers Do It Again!

What an incredible ride! This book pushes the boundaries and makes you think about what defines love. Love doesn’t fit in a neat little box with a perfectly stenciled label and a symmetrical bow. It can be messy, it can be enormous, it can cause you to question who you are. Until you accept yourself, you can’t truly love and be loved in return. Such deep thoughts after this dirty trip through love lost, love denied, and love found! Our travels through the innermost offices of the Canadian government continue with Lachlan, Beth, and Hugh. Immediate and intense sparks fly between Lachlan and Beth for the year they’ve worked for the PM. Lachlan refuses to believe he can have a future with the lovely Beth, and spends his time just pushing her away and denying them both. All it takes is the arrival of a blast from his past to cause those sparks to explode. Beth has longed for Lachlan all this time, but he won’t get his head out of his butt and give her a chance. When handsome Hugh steps up and seeks her attention, will her deep feelings for Lachlan keep her from potential happiness with Hugh? Or will it finally spur him into action? Hugh is a very complex character, and he knows it. Dominant from the very start, he loves but is afraid to love. He’s had his heart broken before, and has built the walls around it to keep from being hurt again. Can these three people find the way to their own form of happiness? You betcha – as long as there’s enough lube…

    Sexy and fun menage romance!

Full Mountie is the third story in Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller's fun and steamy Frisky Beavers series. With a backdrop of Canadian politics, the antics of the Prime Minister and some of his kinky friends are the basis of the series, and in this particular story we get a handful of testosterone and kink when the PM's executive assistant Beth finds herself falling for two handsome police officers who also have some history of their own. Lachlan is the chief of security for the Prime Minister's office, and this means he gets to keep an eye on Beth all the time. He's got a crush on her, but hasn't pursued any relationship, believing his kinky side and their close working relationship makes her off limits. But then Beth goes on a date with Hugh, a man Lachlan had an affair with 10 years previously who has now joined the prime minister's RCMP detail. There's some unresolved feelings between these two men - and they both want Beth. Will she have to choose one over the other? Or can the three of them find their way to a happy ending together? Whew! My kindle screen got pretty steamed up reading this one! It definitely ranks up there as one of the hottest menage/triad stories I've read. The story is told from all three points of view and they get equal page time to delve into the emotional aspects of a triad romance. The story itself is fairly lighthearted with minimal angst, delving into the sexual aspects of their relationship early on, sometimes with just two of them and sometimes with all three. There are some BDSM aspects to their relationship as Lachlan identifies as submissive while Hugh is Dominant and Beth is quite happy discovering her own kinky side, having had a decidedly vanilla sex life before becoming involved in the social aspects of the prime minister's life. There are some complicated feelings and issues delved into here, with a second chance romance for Hugh and Lachlan and the realities of how to navigate this kind of relationship in public. I loved how all three characters have different issues to contend with coming into their relationship. Lucky for these three, they have some very understanding friends who can see the way the wind is blowing and just want the three of them to be happy. In the midst of the very sexy scenes we also get some lovely sweet ones too with characters from the previous two books getting some cameos. There are some new characters introduced and some hints as to what's coming up next (I can't wait)! The story flows smoothly, interspersing timely political commentary into the romance and giving a believable if simplified idea of what it's like to work out of the Prime Minister's office. We get a suitable happy ending for this polyamorous trio and an epilogue that is probably wishful thinking but a cute touch. Full Mountie is a sexy, exciting and fun menage romance. It's definitely going on my favorites shelf for 2017.

    Very Frisky Beavers!!

What a great addition to this series! I did find it a bit drawn out in the beginning as we work up to them finally coming together as a threesome. Lachlan had a lot of issues to work through in his own mind. I did enjoy Hugh's cockiness. Heat and storyline were dialled up immensely when they all accepted that they were going to be a threesome though. I did have a few "he did not just do that" moments that left me reeling and emotional at the time. Gavin and Ellie's wedding was described beautifully and I want to hear more about it. (Hint, hint Ainsley Booth.) We also catch up on Max and Violet with their own Awww moments. Can't wait for the next instalment of these Frisky Beavers!
