  • WOW!

My mind is blown and im on the edge of my seet. Yes this book is not as exciting as the last but its ending is insane! Im sure if your like me and read the reviews you noticed im just saying the same thing but its still pretty action packed. When i finished the last book i could not wait a second to get the next book. Now once again after only 4 days im back imagining what could happen. PLEASE do not quit on this book it seems probably boring ,for some readers, at the middle. But once you read the ending your saving up your birthday money and 'cleaning' your couch looking for money to buy the next book!

  • Love this series

Loved the first one, loved the second one, onto the third one! I am addicted to these books. The battles and action scenes are so vividly written. I love the characters. I have nothing bad to say about these stories.

  • Building a new army

Being the second book in the Red Queen series you pulled into the world of lower class and upper nobles only its not money, its the colour of your blood that separates the two. But a third player is coming into this fight, and that is those who have red blood but powers of someone who has silver blood called Newbloods. After escaping from the area that was suppose to be where they died, Cal and Mare must work together to take down Maven. Cal refusing to kill his own people leads to Mare changing and loosing herself in the darkness of all the killing she must due not only to save the newbloods but also the deaths of so many innocent people as punishment for her actions by the Silver King. It all takes a heavy toll on her and she pulls away from loved ones and friends. As the story builds you see additional players coming in to the story and more personality traits being shown. Where even in a world when every day is a risk, love makes an appearance and some people are more willing to act on these feelings then others. My only complaint is the number of times that Mare goes on an internal monologue about how everything is horrible and how she can't trust anyone or act on her true feelings. This is when her age really comes out and its hard to see her being a leader.

    Thanks for your feedback!
