  • Scary/Real

Scary/real. I see many similarities in our society.

  • Intense and sad

This was a very intense story. The sad thing is, that this sort of thing can and has happened, in one way or another. Very sad, what humans can do to each other

  • Gutter Child

Very well and competently written, but a trifle pedantic for my taste. (Would have given it 3 1/2 stars if I could) The afterword by the author certainly made that clear, at least to me. Shades of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" brought up to date. Still, a worthwhile exercise in downtrodden people maintaining hope in the face of adversity.

  • Where’s the rest of it?

Story was interesting but the ending sucked. Flipped the page and it was done. I expected more closure. So many personal story lines could have been concluded within the story. I feel like this book ended in the middle.

  • Gutter Child

Fantastic book from a new author. This story encompasses everything in real life. You can feel their pain, the losses, the love , hatred, dreams, envy, being treated like slaves. The characters and pace of the story, makes it difficult to put down. And absolute read as you won't be.

    Thanks for your feedback!
