    Hot movie star

Eden is a movie star and after finding our that her fiance cheated on her with his costar, she returns home to her grandmother's house in Georgia. There she finds out that the house was not only left to her, but to Cooper also - her ex-boyfriend that she left behind when she chose stardom. They struggle with their past relationship because neither one had let go of the feelings and they might make another go at it. Can they rekindle what they had? Will Hollywood and her ex, come between them? Will love conquer all? This is a beautiful story of a young small town girl who makes it in the big leagues and has success. Sawyer Bennett will make you a voyeur in their world. This is another winner for Sawyer Bennett. I voluntarily reviewed an arc.

A Sexy, Low Drama, Second Chance Romance

This was exactly what I was looking for - a sexy, low drama, second chance romance. The story was playful and funny with plenty of steam and I loved every second! This is book two in the Love Hurts series, but can be read as a stand alone and the characters are completely unrelated to the characters from the first book, Sex in the Sticks. Eden and Coop had amazing chemistry and were really relatable. Their reunion starts off hilariously rocky, but once misunderstandings are cleared up, they begin taking the steps to reconnect after their 14 year separation. Even though they have each had individual success, they both recognize that something in their lives is missing, especially Eden. I really liked that neither really begrudged the other for following their dreams and staying true to themselves, even when it caused them to go their separate ways. So much in life is about timing and I felt that this re-discovery of each other after both have had to time to grow and mature felt honest and realistic. Having both Coop and Eden's points of view also was awesome because it helped to understand where the other was coming from and how each struggled with their feelings and fears. I loved how their relationship was both comfortingly old and excitingly new. If you're looking for a feel good, low angst, and sexy second chance romance, look no further! Jilted will leave you with a happy heart and a smile on your face! *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

    Fantastic

Sawyer Bennett brings us another fantastic story as Hollywood and small town America collide in this amazing second chance story. The characters are wonderful and the chemistry between Eden and Cooper is off the charts. Eden Goodnight, Hollywood's current favorite star, returns home after her private life implodes spectacularly right on the red carpet. She may not be happy about being back but she never expected the animosity the townspeople are throwing her way. The only person that seems to be cutting her any slack is her high school love Cooper Mayfield. If you enjoy your romance fun, heartfelt, and steamy this is perfect for you. I highly recommend it.

    Great second chance romance!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It begins with the heroine, Eden, finding out that her fiancé has had an affair. She's been living in Hollywood as an actress, but when she's publicly humiliated she heads back to her small hometown. She runs in to her high school sweetheart, Coop, pretty quickly. They had ended things on friendly terms, but he seems to be angry with her. The whole town seems to be angry with her and she has no clue as to why. It was fun to watch these two rekindle their relationship. Rediscovering who each other was and how they could build on it. This story had its drama, but for the most part it was a fun and funny read. I highly recommend everyone who enjoys a good ol love story to read this wonderful book.

    LOVED this book!!!!

**Received ARC for a fair and honest review** I LOVED Jilted, definite 5 star review for me. I couldn't put this book down, really sucked me in from the beginning and kept me in until the very end. This is book 2 in the Love Hurts series. It is a stand alone, no ties to the first book in the series. I loved the characters in this story, loved their chemistry, if you like hot and steamy you will not be disappointed. Eden Goodnight and Coop Mayfield were highschool sweethearts, she went against her grandmother that was her guardian after her parents died and went to college with Coop. When they were out a modeling scout noticed her and contacted her and it changed the course of their lives. Through distance and time their relationship couldn't hold up and they ended things amicably. They both move on with their lives, but when Eden finds out that her fiance cheated on her she ran back home where nobody could find her, but things weren't as she was expecting, nor was Coop expecting Eden to come back and they are both in for a shock and some surprises! I usually can find something to knit pick so that I can give the positive and negative to a story, but for me I couldn't find anything I didn't like. The story flowed, it grabs you and sucks you in from the beginning, the situations felt realistic instead of extremely far fetched, and at the end of the story where some end and leave you feeling like it ended in the middle of something or just end and give you nothing, that doesn't happen either... I loved this book... Happy Reading!!
