    A fantastic read

This is the eighth book in this series. Cookie and Dylan find themselves trying to solve the mystery of a body they came across in a car. Even though this is a mystery you will be laughing out loud with the going on with Cookie and Dylan as they try to solve the mystery. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

    Wonderfully Transcribed Whodunit!

Wonderfully transcribed whodunit in the action, dialog and plot in this entertaining mystery. A parade, "amusing older hipsters," romance and murder! Cookie and Rain may have to leave their island. Gotta gotta love the humor and characters! 3 1/2 stars. Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.

    Knocking on Death's Door

Rain, Cookie's mother, has organized a resurrection of a community celebration, The Dumpy Parade. Unfortunately, their Inn's float had some extra junk in the trunk. A dead body. Bad enough her mom is considered a suspect but his identity is a man associated with the mob family she and her mom left home and settled in Secret Seal Isle to hide. Would she have to pull up stakes again and move? She'd finally made a tough choice of the man she wanted in her life. They were progressing to a good place. Rain had her best friend here and both had men that enhanced their lives. How could she ask any of them to leave because of her past? First things first. Solve the murder which would get her mom out of trouble. Then make sure the guy really was from the crime family. Then leave everything she'd created here? Will she really have to leave? What about those around her? How will they decide? The authors just won't let Cookie have a peaceful life. They have to have a dead body or competing men or incompetent law enforcement, and we love every word. Enjoy another Cookie mystery with the characters we have come to love. If this is your first Secret Seal Isle Mystery, enjoy. You will probably want more and the entire series is enjoyable.

CAPTIVATING MYSTERY - SUSPENSE & HUMOR

KNOCKING ON DEATH'S DOOR takes you back to Secret Seal Isle with its quaint beauty and another murder to be solved. I love how the author mixed sweet romance, suspense, action, fun, a bit of jealousy and loads of humor into the writing of this story. Once I started reading I was hooked until the fabulous conclusion. The ID on the departed victim threatens Cookie and her mom's ideal life on the Isle. Dylan the hot handyman ex Navy Seal now Cookie's boyfriend helps her investigate the murder. The two realize that time is pivotal to solve this shocking crime. FANTASTIC fast-paced read. The characters come alive with witty banter and wonderful vivid scene descriptions. I laughed, smiled and enjoyed the camaraderie between the characters. Cookie and Dylan prove their devotion to each other; a perfect match. If you enjoy mysteries with a whole lot of humor and characters you can relate to this is a terrific read. Finding this to be quite entertaining {of my own volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced copy.} Without hesitation, I recommend this read.

    An amazing story

OMG I love these books back to Secret Seal Isle . Cookie James ex FBI agent runs a bed and breakfast with her crazy mom and best friend Scarlett. She has a hot handyman boyfriend named Dylan. There is just one huge problem murder. They seem to keep popping up all around her. When her mom decides to put on a parade it ends with one too and that's not all. This time cookie and her mom might just have to leave for ever. I love the action, the mystery, drama, comedy, spice, craziness and more This story has it all. The characters are fantastic. It so easy to get lost in the story and impossible to put down! Don't miss it Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it. Each story has been fantastic
