    Such a touching story!

Such a touching story! I couldn't put this book down. I loved the dynamic of Frankie & Mack's relationship at the beginning of the story, and I especially loved reading how it evolved. True to form for the Penelope books I have read, this story brings to light several issues that I, personally, didn't know much about but that many people deal with daily. And holy cow, did this book have a lot of twists. I mean, a lot of very unexpected ones. Lots. The emotions between Mack and Frankie were so wonderfully done. You want a story where you can FEEL the love? This is it. I can't wait for Penelope's next book! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

Didn't finish this book which I have never done, reached page 70 and realised it wasn't going to get better, it is like no emotion was put into writing this book.. Very disappointing considering every single one of her other books are AMAZING.. This one? Not so much..

    Truly dreadful

Not sure what was going on with the author and this book. Normally i find her am enjoyable read. Unfortunately, this was quite the opposite. The writing was simple and basic and the storyline terrible - i kept reading hoping that any aspect of the book would improve at some point. Nope. Truly dreadful.

    Frankie Four Eyes

Once again Penelope has blown me away with a alpha who is totally swoon worthy and down right dangerous on a girl's heart. This second chance romance gave me the feels page after page and I'm so glad to have read it. Mackenzie (Mack) wants to win back the only girl he has every truly loved but he knows that its going to be hard to do so he plans a sneak attack, enroll his son in her class where seeing him will be unavoidable. Francesca (Frankie) is not only shocked she's thrown for a loop to see him again after so many years and so many unresolved feelings. The characters, the chemistry, getting to see glimpses of the past to help you along with their backstory makes this one well rounded read. If you're looking for a book that will have you laughing out loud and rooting for both the hero & the heroine then definitely pick this book up.

Mack Daddy will make you swoon!

Mack Morrison and Frankie O'Hara met when they became roommates in Boston. Although they're total opposites, they become best friends. As they spend more time with each, they fall in love, even though Mack has a girlfriend in DC. When everything seems to be lining up for them to be together, Mack leaves Frankie and goes back to DC. Eight years later, Mack is back to Boston and wants to win Frankie back. But there's still unfinished business between them, Frankie is still hurting, and she's also dating someone. Will Mack win Frankie's heart again? Or has Frankie moved on? I loved Mack Daddy! It's a funny, sweet, and sexy story, with the perfect amount of drama. Frankie and Mack's story hooked me from the first page and I couldn't stop reading. I loved the dual POVs and the flashbacks that showed how Mack and Frankie met and how they bonded and fell in love. Francesca "Frankie" O'Hara is a teacher and loves her job. She is very shy around adults but with children she's the best. Eight years ago, she fell in love with Mack. When she thought he felt the same for her, he broke her heart. Now he's back and wants her. But she is still very hurt and very confused. She has a great boyfriend that loves her, protects her, and makes her feel safe. Mackenzie "Mack" Morrison is back to Boston and wants Frankie. He regrets how he left her and wants to win her back. He's now older and wiser and also a father. He believes that Frankie is the right match for him and for his son. He isn't afraid to say what he's feeling and showing how vulnerable he is without Frankie. I loved how he fought for Frankie! Penelope Ward gives us a new book boyfriend and an amazing story. Mack will make you swoon in this story about love, friendship, and trust. Mack Daddy is flawlessly written, making it very easy to connect with the characters and the story.
