    Excellent

Really enjoyed and so glad the mayhem didn’t involve abduction. So many characters still left so many more stories!

    Great Read

Ms Sinclair once again weaves a story of passion and trials and tribulations. Continuing on from Master of Freedom , we see what happens to Sawyer after his release from prison. We watch his integration into the community that has accepted his brother and we watch as he falls in love. Loved the book ! Great read !

Excitement in a small mountain town

These mountain men, and the mountain women, they definitely know how to keep things lively in such a serene and calm place! As noted, this story is about the group in the Mountains, though we do get a visit to Dark Haven, and I wish we could spend some more time there *hint hint * . We met Sawyer in the last book, he is Attiticus' brother. I think Mallory has been around the edges as well, she has been in town all along, and is a neighbour to Attiticus and the Masterson's. Sawyer is facing problems in town because he is an ex-con. The prison shut down but the gangs lingered, and everyone from the prison is lumped together by some of the town folk. The gang that Attiticus and Sawyer, and the Masterson brothers, defeated and killed a few members of, are still in town, and set on revenge. Wyatt Masterson is off in Africa, so he is safe, but Attiticus is clearly in their sites. Sawyer is sticking around to eliminate the threat, so Attiticus can have a safe and happy life Mallory is an everyday person in town. Not stunning, not broken, not carrying around a lot of baggage. She runs a construction company she inherited from her grandfather, so she doesn't have a fussy style, but she is a girl. She is feminine, but most men don't look past what she seems. She has pretty much given up on ever finding anyone who will look and see the real her and be a partner for her Sawyer and Mallory connect rather innocently, and it is a scorching good time, but then nothing. A series of misunderstandings on both their parts, keep them apart. Fate doesn't let keep happening, but the misunderstanding thing, yeah, lots of that. Every time these two make a break through, something else intervenes. It would be easy to lay it all on Sawyer, but Mallory takes her share as well. He protects himself and her, she curls up and protects herself, but, she draws him out each time to get to the bottom of things These two take a stroll to get together, because while the attraction is instant, they take a bit to get to know each other. When they are together, be prepared, they are powerful in the attraction. This is one of my favourite series of all time, so I know I love seeing previous characters about. There is that here, but the focus is Sawyer, Mallory, and the town in this story. I loved it for everything it was!

I'm a fan of Ms. Sinclair. I found that the story was nice... but not great!

A great addition to the series

I love this authors books and I love how there is always an element of suspense involved with a ton of romance and scenes that would make your momma blush! Miscommunication, bad guys galore, a sweet (but oh so strong) heroine who falls for the seal who has a rough go of it. I also love catching up with favorite characters from both her Dark Haven series and this series.
