  • Hope never ending

This is the first book I have read by this author and I absolutely loved it. While the story is full of bad things that happened to good people, the underlying theme throughout is hope. It deals with serious events but still manages to leave you feeling uplifted when it is done. Nathan is an up and coming artist. Unfortunately he is bullied and lives are ruined. His life spun out of control and he lost everything. He gave up his art and his parents paid a high price for what he did. Years later Nathan returns to his hometown and buys his old family home. He has a plan to make a safe place for people to come while they rebuild their lives. However, he used all his money to buy the house and needs investors to fix it up and get Hope House up and running. Jake is an investor who goes by the name Og. He sees the home and decides that it isn't a good investment right now. He needs things that make money quickly as he too has a plan and problem to solves. Whilst being trapped overnight in the house with Nathan and his best friend, circumstances change and he agrees to invest. He plans on being a very hands on investor. Both Og and Nathan have secrets that neither is prepared to share. But each plan to do whatever it takes to obtain their goal. I fell in love with the characters. There is a crazy cast of secondary characters. Each more intriguing than the one before. I want to learn all their stories. The author is able to draw you in and make you feel invested in the outcome. A very well written book. An excellent story. I can't wait for the next one in the series. • Wonderful

The characters and locale are perfect and the story and backstories are terrific. The emotions and deep feelings that they share bond the group together. You can not help but love and care for them and keep you fingers crossed that it all works out. Can not wait to read more from this author. • Creation

Art is about creation and vision. Nathan is an artist who has paused his art career to create something in an old house. He has a big vision that will impact others but he needs an assist, financially. Og can help but there will turn out to be more to his involvement than financing. This is such a beautiful love story that strays beyond the boundaries of the main couple. The secondary characters are great and make this even more of a good story to read. • Heart warming read

Heart warming read This is the first book ive read by Susan Saxx and I must say I wasn't disappointed. This was a heart warming story about Nathan who is trying his best to give back and help other artist who are struggling. He has just brought back his family home which his mother and father had to sell due to bad press on Nathans art that had a knock on effect to his parents business. His best friend Zach was there to help him but they needed an investor to get the money to get the place up and running and so far everyone ran for the hills except OG, he seemed to have plans for the place and for Nathan himself. They find a beautiful smart mouth girl in there barn and she has the amazing ability to read everyone and she isn't shy about telling them to their faces. She has all 3 men wrapped around her little finger. There are a few storylines going on throughout this book and I'm hoping that means this book is the start of a series. I really liked the relationship between Nathan and OG. There was something very raw about it all. But i was glad when he could finally trust OG with the truth and that OG was the man i thought he was and made Nathan see sense. This is a fantastic read and hopefully the start of something wonderful!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Romance

Nathan bought back his family home so he could create a safe place for people to get themselves together. He needs an investor to help him do that. Og offers to invest in the project and help restore the house. Nathan and Og are attracted to each other but they both have secrets that can keep them apart. I really liked this book.
