    Hard to put into words.

This is a novel that touched me in a way no other book has ever done. I feel my memories are somehow linked with the main characters, where I can't discern mine from his. Sounds silly, but I guess that's how deeply it resonated with me. These are characters that will stay with me for a long time.

    Beautifully written. Innocent and charming.

Beautifully written. Loved the innocence, charm and honesty of all the characters. Made me want to be a twenty year old college student again. A magical, but quietly sad story.

    How a culture being told

Read this when I was in college and read it again. Still fond of it though it is on of the darkest book I've read. He told well about several japanese and theie committing suicide isssue and all.

    Absolutely Intense & Marvelous Book!

Great book that tells a captivating story about different characters with their unique characters and stories while being interconnected and giving the reader a peak into how complex life can be.
