    Fun, quick Christmas read!

Adam Rutledge, Viscount d'Arque does not like the holiday season and everything that goes with it but because his Grandmother does, they are making the trek through a snowstorm to a Christmas party. When their carriage breaks down, Adam rides a horse back to a house that they passed to find out it belongs to Godric St. John, whose wife Adam may have flirted with before! Luckily, Margaret St. John welcomed Adam and reluctantly Godric agreed to help rescue Adam's grandmother. What Adam was not expecting was Godric's half sister, Sarah St. John! She was the one woman he always wanted that had no interest in him! While being snowed in with all of Godric's other guests, Adam has fun sparring with Sarah and quickly the attraction is off the charts. What a fun and entertaining story these two went on to get to their happy ending! I really enjoyed both Adam and Sarah. If you are looking for a fun, quick Christmas read, give this one a try!

    Lovely Christmas Novella

I received an ARC of this novella from the author in exchange for a fair review. Reading this novella was bittersweet because it’s going to be the last of the Maiden Lane books and I am a bit sad about that. You can read this novella as a stand alone, it does have characters from other Maiden Lane books in it but you will still enjoy it even if you haven’t read any of the others. My only complaint is that I wanted more story because as I said I am not quite ready to say goodbye to Maiden Lane. The story is a lovely Christmas novella of how a rake meets his match with a bonus of a frog princess story in the chapter headings. Sizzle level is steamy. So when the holiday season is getting you frazzled make a cup of tea find a cozy spot to curl up in and enjoy the story of Sarah St. John and Adam Rutledge, Viscount d’Arque. Publishing date Dec 5, 17.

Not the Zing of Ghost of St. Giles Stories

Novella seemed short and just did not engage the reader or have the zing of the stories in the series that focus on the Ghost of St. Giles
