    Thanks for your feedback!

Boland does not disappoint. Amazing writing as us

Three friends Fiona, Kelly and Tia are being harrassed by someone...but they are each so ashamed they keep it to themselves. As the story progresses there are hints as to who this may be and it all comes together at the end. I have read every single one of Bolands books and have loved them all. This one is no exception. She has great writing style and character development..and most of all...her stories are very unique 5 stars! I love this book.

    Must-Read

Another definite must-read from Shalini Boland! One Of Us Is Lying is another win - twisted, tantalizing, un-put-downable tale of three childhood friends who suddenly face daunting and frightening threats. Do they dare confide in each other, their partners or keep their own counsel? Who is after them and what do they want? This one will entertain from the beginning to the very end!

    Loved this book!

Shalini Boland never fails to write a great story! I love the first person point of view from each of the three friends. It took a minute in the beginning to get them straight but then it all flowed easily. I read a ton of books in this genre so everyone was a suspect for awhile but I was able to work things out for myself before the end. I was very satisfied with the ending. I definitely recommend One Of Us Is Lying to anyone looking for a suspenseful book that holds your attention throughout!

    Captivating story.

When one of Shalini Boland's books comes up for review, I must admit that I accept it even without reading the blurb. She is an exceptional writer and always manages to deliver. This is certainly the case with One of Us is Lying. Tia always enjoyed picking up her children up from school. One day, however, she only sees her son leave the school. She discovers that her daughter Rosie is still in the classroom and is quite upset. It takes more than a little prodding but Tia finally discovers what is wrong with her daughter. Rosie wants to know why her mummy would kill someone. Where did her five-year-old hear such a thing? Why, in fact, does Tia feel more than a bit of guilt about the question? Tia has a past, one hidden from everyone but her two best friends. Has someone discovered her past? and how could it have filtered down to her daughter? Her friendship with Fiona and Kelly was solid. However, hearing her daughter's question proves to be just the beginning of problems that go back to her past. Who is suddenly causing her problems? And Tia is concerned that her friendship bond will be shredded. One of Us is Lying was a rather quick read, with the story alternating with the first person perspectives of each woman, Tia, Kelly and Fiona. Their hidden past is quickly unraveling and everything they've accomplished could fall completely apart. Things take a bit of time to evolve, but eventually everything is bared. I loved the flow of the book and felt like I was right there as I was waiting for the knowledge behind their secret pasts. As I have already stated, I will always grab one of Ms. Boland's books. I love being entertained while reading a book. In addition, solving jigsaw puzzles is one of my hobbies and I loved the feel of doing something similar while captivated by this book. Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

    Another brilliant read by Shalini!

It is always a great day when Bookouture announces a new Shalini Boland book and it is even better when the advanced reader copies are sent through. It is like Christmas Day, receiving the best present ever! So how does One Of Us Is Lying stack up? Read on to find out… Shalini has crafted a thrilling plot with one of the most chilling lines ever uttered by a five-year child, spoken to their mother that I have ever read! “Why did you kill someone”! It is goosebump worthy and throws the story and its characters into total chaos as only Shalini can masterfully do. There is enough in the blurb for me not to discuss anymore on the plot. As always it is best going into a book of Shalini’s with what has been given. The characters of Tia, Kelly and Fiona have been very well developed and each is brought to life through the pages beautifully. One of Shalini’s strengths is her characters and she has done such an outstanding job with these ladies. They are believable and I could completely resonate with each of them. Shalini never disappoints and delivers to her readers each and every time a fantastic piece of work. I have never reviewed a book from Shalini that was not 5 stars! She draws you into her wicked web and holds you captive as you race through the pages to endings that are always done in spectacular fashion and One Of Us Is Lying is no different. One Of Us Is Lying is a fast-paced psychological thriller with a strong plot, great characterisation, full of suspense, twists and turns, with writing that is second to none and it is a contender to be part of my best books for 2020! It was an absolute pleasure to read and review One Of Us Is Lying which I highly recommend. Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and Shalini Boland for allowing me to read an advanced copy of One Of Us Is Lying which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
