    Our Time

Nerveracking, breatbtaking, heartwarming all roled into one great story. A must read for all COK lovers if you want to know what happens next like I did. I wish this series would go on forever with their children and so on...

    slightly better than the previous

the book starts out and continues in much of a similar vain to the previous book: lots of boring romance between the, now completely insipid rae and devon. thankfully there is more contribution from the rest of the cast this time, making it a bit more interesting, but still no page turner. then along comes chapter 9 and wanita swings a home run, tapping back into, what i would call the essence of these books. something is finally happening, to which rae is just a spectator, and so, cannot spoil it with her boredome. alas it is short lived, we get back to what has become the driving force of this story: more lack lustre love, the result of which i stopped caring about ages ago. wanita then goes for the standard big event in the last chapters, alas, a swing and a miss. my interest has been lost, and she was not able to regain it. the climax is a let down and the usual cliff hanger that the book ends on is competing with the previous one as the worst of the whole series. while the book was readable, i was hoping it would address some of the many unanswered questions, plot holes, or really take advantage of the fact that the whole cast is togeher, making for some great story telling...unfortunately not. i can't see how the finale will be better, which is a huge shame, as the sequel series started hugely very well, the prequel was great, and the main story was also great...althoughbit did start to meandre after a while. come in wanita, finish the way you started!
