    Electrical Disaster - Human Survival

How would you survive without electricity - not just for a few hours but possibly for years? As countries north of the equator have their power grids wiped out by a massive geomagnetic solar storm caused by a flare from the sun, the world is scrambling to maintain order and survive the aftermath. Told in story clips set in the White House, a NYC apartment, the weather station in Colorado, a family in Oklahoma and Texas, the gripping stories of fighting for survival point out the foolishness of our current economic policies like Just In Time production for everything from mechanical equipment to food supplies. Short sighted policies to save money now without planning for future potential disasters. Our reliance on electricity for every aspect of our lives makes this novel a real wake up call. Well written with characters you care about.
