    Exceptional

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💋💋💋💋 First in a new series and it’s stunning . From the characters of Savage And Jane , to the battles at sea , the Love scenes that will set you afire , the emotion of the H and h in their new relationship, the trust issues of a man sold to pirates by his father ,to the blazing relationship between savage and Constantine. This book is addictive, it’s one of the best starts to a series I’ve read , the next can’t come soon enough . Bravo Eliza xx I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review

    Swashbuckling Pirate Romance

Savage of the Sea by Eliza Knight Pirates of Britannia #1 Historical romance with pirates – how could I resist the opportunity to read and review a book such as this AND try out a new author in the process? Well, I couldn’t :) And… What a wonderful book this proved to be! I am now eager to read the rest of this series and any other books I can find by this author! The book, based on the myth of how the Pirates of Britannia began, tells the story of Shaw “Savage” MacDougall and Lady Jane Lindsey. Savage was in the wrong place at the right time to save Jane and take her to the safe haven she requested to go to. Five years later she is in need of his help again and as neither seems to have forgotten the other and he is a pirate and she is offering a “treasure” – well – he is off to save her again. With a hand fasting, the gathering of his men and ships, the addition of English pirates to assist in his quest the group is off to England to secure the promised treasure. Two bands of wicked conscienceless pirates from Spain and France are encountered along the way and so is the evil man who started the problems for Jane in the first place. Most, if not all, of the wicked men are dealt with before a HEA can be found for Savage and Jane. This swashbuckling tale of derring-do on both land and the high seas left me eager to find out what will happen in future books of the series. I mean, there are at least three hotties that captain Savage’s ships in the Britannia group and then there is Constantine who is a blond godlike being who leads the English pirates so…there are plenty of stories to look forward to as one after the other of these men’s’ stories are shared. Thank you to Barclay Publicity for the ARC – This is my honest review. 5 Stars

    Loved it

SAVAGE OF THE SEA by Eliza Knight is the First book in the Pirates of Britannia: Lords of the Sea. This is the story of Shaw “Savage” MacDougall and Lady Jane Lindsey. Shaw had a rocky start but he has made a name for himself as a pirate but he does have honor. That is proven when he saves a young Jane for certain rape and death. Shaw takes her to the Abbey to be safe. Neither forgot the other and now Jane finds that she needs him again. Shaw again steps in to help her but this time it leads to more excitement, trouble and some great love scene. Love their story and this author's writing.

    Captivating Combo!

I enjoyed this book SO much. It combined two of my favorite historical romance combos together: Pirates AND Highland hotties. This story was a fun and satisfying way to start off this new series. Eliza Knight always brings a captivating story with interesting and lifelike characters. I so hope that the next story in this series is about le Brecque! *I received a complimentary ARC of this story in order to read and provide a voluntary, unbiased and honest review, should I choose to do so.
