    Great new series

Great start for a new series. Love the new and “old” characters in book. Couldn’t put it down. Keep them coming

I am hooked on Karen Rose

My first Karen Rose book and I official hooked on her books. Say You’re Sorry is a romantic thriller but it is also a psychological thriller. There are so many twists and turns that my head just kept spinning trying to keep up. Yet, the book was easy to follow, amazing to read, and bone-chilling to finish. With over 600 pages to read I was pleasantly surprised by how quick the story went. With each chapter, there was something new happening. Cults, FBI, kidnapping, families coming together, a dash of romance, and so much more all kept me turning pages, staying up late, and reading chapter after chapter. I had no clue who the villain was, I loved the good guys, and was in awe of the strength that the main characters had to show just to survive. Say You’re Sorry is the first book in a new series by Karen Rose and I am so excited for more from her.

A perfect melding of mystery and suspense...

Don’t be intimidated by the page count of this novel. What you should prepare yourself for, though, is an entire day to devote to it! I started to read Say You’re Sorry at night thinking I’d read a few chapters and then get some sleep, well that is not how it went at all. After reading about 390 pages I realized it was three in the morning and I had to force myself to put the book down because I had a full day ahead of me. The struggle was real because I really, really, wanted to continue reading this story!!*** Say You’re Sorry is the first book in the Sacramento series (twenty-second in the overall Romantic Suspense series) and I was hooked from the beginning because all the moving parts in this story were fascinating! The main plot surrounded a religious cult, a serial killer, and a swoony romance, which weren’t related and not in that order, but came together in a perfect melding of mystery and suspense. I am very invested with the overarching plot that will be continuing in the next book because it left me feeling like justice needed to be served and I wanted to be a part of the moment!*** I thought that all the characters in this book were well developed and memorable. I especially liked the main characters. One was dealing with staying sober, a federal agent who has a past he is ashamed of, a killer that I hate myself for feeling empathy for, and mysteries with twists that are worth waiting for! The pacing of this story was also just perfect! It slowed down when I wanted to know more and picked up when it needed to. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this novel to all readers who love romantic suspense stories! I know this is a series and an Author that I will be continuing to follow!*** This review is based on a complimentary book I received from NetGalley. It is an honest and voluntary review. The complimentary receipt of it in no way affected my review or rating.

Fast paced keep you on your toes thriller.

Thank you so much to Berkley Publishing Group and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review, I have always loved Karen Rose and this one definitely did not disappoint. I love romantic mystery books and she hits it on the nail every time. This book is about Daisy who gets attacked one night while walking home by a man with a stocking on his face. She uses what she's learned to attack back and she gets away from him. During the fight when she tries to grab his coat she accidentally rips a necklace off his neck, a locket with the name Miriam engraved on it. FBI agent Gideon Reynolds recognizes it as it's tied to past crimes and it's tied to his personal past. Gideon becomes Daisy's personal bodyguard and is trying to figure out how this guy is connected to his past before the guy succeeds in getting Daisy again. This was such an awesome fast paced thriller but I wouldn't expect anything else from Karen Rose. Even though a majority of her books are pretty long they are never drawn out or boring, her writing style and plot keeps you interested throughout the entire book and then she always throws in little (or sometimes big) shockers that you're never prepared for, The characters were well-developed and I liked all of their parts within the story. I loved the slow romance within the story and how the two main characters helped each other so much. Excellent, excellent story and I'm very excited for this new series.
