    Thanks for your feedback!

Excellent; leaves you wanting to read more.

There are 7 stories in this book which enhance and add depth to the novels by this author. A book one does not want to put down until the story if finished; then I found it difficult not to read the next one immediately. Diana's characters come alive. In my mind's eye I can see them in the carriage, writing a letter, feel what they feel. Waiting for the next novel. A wonderful way to learn history. There is a Road to Culloden weekend each year near my home which I now attend thanks to this series of books. I just want to keep on reading more and more. Love the online presence of this author and the Outlander cast and crew.

Seven Stones to Stand or Fall

My favourite author who never fails to delight, writing with captivating humour, filling in background stories while we wait with bated breath for her next book. So beautifully written. Can never get enough of this woman's genius.

    Ok, not great

Most was repetitive. The two new stories were ok, but felt stretched.

Review for the 2 new ones.

Since I read the other 5 awhile ago and prob reviewed them too, I will give my thoughts on A Fugitive Green and Besieged. A Fugitive Green is a fun story of how Hal and his second wife Minnie met. Since Diana's description of this story says Jamie is in it, I will tell you there is the obligatory yummy description of him, he says 8 lines and is gone. Seeing that it occurred in the first chpt and was so brief, I was originally going to write that he is only mentioned, but thought I should double check in case I was wrong. Good thing I did. I was a fair bit disappointed about this. I had visions in my head of Minnie and Jamie getting up to no good. As usual, Diana pulls you right into the story leaving you begging for more. It was wonderful seeing 3 well loved characters mix it up and we get more info on the Twelvetrees situation. A nice bit of dessert trolly to go with those wine pairings. Besieged is a rollicking adventure with our man Lord John. Again, nice to see some beloved characters show up. Quite easy to imagine Havana and El Morro castle since we visited Cuba a few yrs. ago. As usual with a LJ novel, there's lots of fighting, food and drink, and chivalry.
