    Slow Burn

Danielle Norman does it again. Much as I loved Stetson, this was just on the next level. Can be read on its own but the characters are so endearing you’ll want to read all of them. Best friends since they were tiny Asher has to convince Paris that it can be so much more. Now I’m off to read the next one....

    A Best Friend To Lovers!

This is definitely a slow burn of a romance, Paris’s best friend Asher, upsets the applecart when he tells her he is in love with her. Paris’s shock is absolute, and she rejects him outright. Asher drowns his sorrow, because he thought they were on the same page, and now he didn’t have his best friend or love of his life. At times I just wanted shake Paris, she was so frustrating . This was more of a sweet romance once they got together. This is like being in the middle family squabble, and made for entertaining reading. This is the second book in the Iron House Series, with three sisters Holland, Paris and London. I can’t wait to read Holland’s story.

...a road map to the heart.

No one can break a heart quite like Danielle Norman. The impact feels brutal, but the emotional purge is empowering. Slow Burn is like a road map to the heart. Asher and Paris are a bundle of insecurities fighting to become whole. Paris sees the world with the damaged heart of a seven year old girl doing her best to be perfect. Asher is the kind of man, who wants to be happy and is willing to take the hard road to get there. What happens when forever comes calling but doubt has you too scared to answer? When kindred spirits become crippled by heartache anything is possible. Norman takes hearts down an emotionally treacherous path to remind them falling in love is not always smooth sailing, but a learning curve.
