    Disappointment

Loved Tempt the Boss so don't know what happened here, but it's a mess. Rambling scattered plot. Really bad English (second language interference clearly). Cliche-ridden inane dialogue. This author is no Vi Keeland/Penelope Ward though there is a blatant attempt to emulate their style.

The title fits this story to a T!

In my opinion, there are only a select few authors out there who can pull off the whole insta-love, bossy alpha romance stories without me losing interest. Natasha Madison is definitely one of those authors. Matthew, Mathew, Mathew. Oh, how I love that man. He's a pro hockey player. He's sexy. And a total bossy alpha. But he's not creepy stalker alpha, like others I've read. Is he over the top? Yes? Was he funny as hell in his ways? Absolutely. The way he pushed his way into Karrie's life had me in stitches. Karrie, Karrie, Karrie. I love her equally as much. Adored her innocence. And how she was unafraid to call Matthew out when he was being overbearing. But she was helpless to his onslaught. And her talking to herself rants. LOL! She sounds like me. In a nutshell, this story was SOMETHING SO PERFECT!

    Natasha Madison is one-of-a-kind!

I HAVE to say that Natasha Madison is one-of-a-kind! She is completely, irrevocably, undeniably one of THE most entertaining, incredibly talented authors I have had the pleasure to read! That being said, Something So Perfect is just that...Something. Sooooooo. Perfect. Period. If you have read ANY of Natasha's books, particularly Tempt The Boss, you KNOW how hilariously funny she is! With Something So Perfect, you get much more emotion, more intensity, much of which comes from the hero, Matthew Grant. There is quite a bit of the Madison trade-mark hilarity in the back and forth banter between Matthew and his "babysitter", Karrie Cooney, who also happens to be the daughter of the owner of the NHL team that has given him his second chance to be the superstar he was destined to be! I ADORED Karrie, she's a total spitfire and takes NONE of Matthew's bull. calling him on EVERYTHING! She's also fun, quirky (typically "Frecnh", talking to herself in both languages....as well as the totally hilarious way she expresses herself with her hands!!) Then we have the CRAZY-HOT, INTENSE chemistry between these two that I was thinking might just BURN UP MY KINDLE!!! Matthew takes ALPHA to the extreme and I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT!!! All I'm gonna say is, if I had 5 days off, I'd like NOTHING better than to spend it that way! 😉 Add in the heart-tugging, emotional moments (ONE in particular) *sigh* with a fabulous HEA and you have...Something So PERFECT!!!

The Caveman has met his match

Can a very bad boy behave when put on the naughty step by a very attractive yet sassy woman? Surprise - the answer is a most DEFINITE yes! I mean sure - he may have had a few opportunities to maybe stretch the rules of good behaviors, but completely justified *wink*. One of my biggest 'pet peeves' is meek women. Just no - no thank you. I need my women strong and independent; willing to stand up to the hero. Well, Karrie does try. But when Matthew is like a man-on-a-mission, she just gets cuffed by his actions and has to go along with the ride. These two characters stole my heart equally. Ms Madison had just enough humor, warmth and love that you felt along the pages. There is action and a minor twist, but not to leave you wrung out from drama. It's just everything I look for in a contemporary romance novel. I loved the other intertwining stories but this can be read as a standalone. When you are looking for that perfect balance of delivery in a story, look no further!

    LOVED IT!

Love love LOVED this book. I stumbled upon Natasha Madison not too long ago actually and quickly became a HUGE fan of her work. As soon as I read Cooper and Parker's story......and I found out there was going to be a story about Matthew, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. And it didn't disappoint. Alpha, super sexy, sweet, funny, and simply perfect! You'll love this story!!!! Happy reading! :)
