Not the winner I had anticipated.

This was a disappointment to me. I has high expectations and this did not live up to them at all. I am not thrilled with the swearing that dad seemed to have HAD to do. And the entire story fell apart. The story sounded good in its description but it bored me to tears.

My Favorite in the Century Trillogy

This book is the first and the best of century trillogy. It's not as biased as the last one. This book is about WWI and has characters from England, US, Russia and Germany. Their life intermingered with each other. The name of the book indicated that the WWI caused the falling of all giant imperial countries..
