    Thanks for your feedback!

Awesome read from this new to me author! And yeah, I'm going back and reading more from her!! In this book we have Stephen Harrison out of rehab, out of shape, and fifty pounds lighter. Team management is glad to have him back but they are worried about him. Living alone, who is going to keep him on the straight and narrow?? To avoid having to deal with a team appointed "Life Coach", he tells the coach he has a girlfriend. Now where can he find one of those??? Margaret (Mags) has worked for Stephen for a while keeping his house orderly and clean. Working toward her goal of owning her own company soon. When Stephen makes her an offer to pretend to be his girlfriend, how can she refuse?? This was such a cute story. Loved these two characters as well as some of the other players on the team. I would definitely recommend this book!

    Liked it

I loved the plot line of this story and the flow was superb, not up and down and all over the place. I love the characters and how well developed they are you really get to know everyone. The steamy romance is a bonus too. Can't wait to read more of this series and this author

    Feel Good Sports Romance!

I was given an advanced copy of this book to write an honest review for Netgalley and Cocktails and Books. IT TAKES TWO TO TACKLE is the third book in the Santa Fe Bobcats series and each book is a standalone story about a different player on the Bobcats football team. This is the first book I read in the series and I enjoyed it so much, I want to read the entire series. Stephan Harrison, a professional football player with the Santa Fe Bobcats, has just been released from rehab and he is nervous about his future. Drinking has consumed his life and he doesn’t want to go back to his old habits, but is afraid to trust himself. Management also worries about Stephan’s future and they ask him to work with a life coach to ensure he stays committed to his sobriety. To avoid having a stranger living with him, Stephan asks Margret Logan to pretend to be his girlfriend and move in as his life coach. Margret cleans houses for a living and most of her clients are the players on the Bobcats team. I liked Stephan; he is smart, has a sweet sensitive side and he makes a great pretend boyfriend. He also has a vulnerable side and constantly worries he will fall back into his old bad habits. Stephan and Margret are good people who unfortunately, have had some bad breaks in life. They are down to earth and are thrown together at the perfect time to help support each other when they need it the most. Once they get to know each other, Stephan and Margret realize they have a lot in common. They enjoy spending time together and there is a lot of chemistry sparking between them. I loved the camaraderie Stephan shares with the guys on the Bobcats team. They are a close knit group and care about each other, but they enjoy giving each other a hard time. Jeanette Murray writes a feel good, sweet story with a good story line.
