    Excellent read

I found the book compelling . The characters are well defined and the the story line very well written. I would recommend it to any one interested in the hard times in France during WW 2

    The Baker's Secret

I so enjoyed this book! It felt like we were seeing everything through Emma's eyes. I was disappointed that there were no mention of Canadians coming to help them, as they were part of D-Day.

    Enjoyable Read

My rating 3.5. out of 5. Enjoyable book. When I read the title and the synopsis of the book, I thought it would make a great story. Unfortunately, it did not quite stand up, it did not hook me in. I would have like to read more characters development, to be able to really connect with them. I found the author describing "things" vs "story lines". When a book hooks me in, I do not want it to end. This one, I could not wait for the ending. On the plus side it didn't make my "Thumb down list". All and all, an enjoyable book.
