    Just nope

I finished this with the overall impression that nothing really happened. He gets arrested and then nothing.....just nothing and the ending was a let down. I felt like the story was going to lead up to something great only to have it just haphazardly end, like the author just gave up and was like here that's all I got.

    A unique point of view

A quick paced look at how a family is affected when someone is accused of a crime. A point of view that isn't often explored in this way. This book certainly keeps your interest

    Great, thought provoking read

This was a brilliant story. I wanted to know that Sadie was going to make it through this crisis with her family. I stayed up all hours of the night reading The Best Kind Of People. I now need to go and read Zoe Whittall's blacklisted titles to appreciate how she has developed as an author.

    Intentionally Gracious

I really enjoyed this book. Having lived through my own trauma, books with similar content have been too challenging to get through. This book was thoughtful in demonstrating how to dive into traumatic subject matter in an intentional and gracious way. The perspective Zoe chooses to write from and focus on is important, and should be practiced more often. The best kind of people is relatable, gripping and next to impossible to put down.
