    Great read

A little slow start but a great read once it gets going.

    Well-written but predictable/repetit

Probably best as a beach read. I think the ex-cop thing is overplayed.

Gives you a good feel for New Orleans

The story was OK but I did not really like any of the main characters. I would say this is a rarity for a James Patterson book. The descriptions etc were very good however.
