    THE DRY

For a first novel written by Jane Harper, it is an excellent story that is very well written. Full of suspense, excellent character, a real page turner. A very surprising end to this novel. I hope the author writes more books soon.

    The dry

A good read. Moves at a good pace. Good character development. The drought forms such a backdrop to the story that it is like another character in the book. Not a cheerfull story.

    The Dry

A good read, not too predictable, but a little sad and depressing. Set in a small town in Australia, Aaron Falk returns to a sad drought ridden town that he lived in as a boy. He originally went for the funeral of his boyhood friend but was quickly drawn into the search for his friend's murderer.
