    Thank You The Suffragist Movement

Lady Sarah Beauchamp has spent the last two years shunned by society. She made a certain tea and accidentally made her sister ill. She has what society sees as terribly dangerous, a brain that she likes to use. Now she desperately wants what her sisters have, a happy marriage. Jonathon Annesley is a politician who is trying to gain votes for a special project. He holds the respect of most of society and believes he can help his sister's friend restore her reputation. An invitation for few days to a Viscount's country house for hunting seems like a nice gentle start. This story gives us a taste of just how limited our female ancestors lives were. Thank you the suffragist movement. Our intelligent and brave heroine always puts the welfare of others above her own. Our hero is trying to do his best for everyone. This is part of a series. While this story would be better if you read the previous books , you can still enjoy this one on its own. I loved it.

    A very promising read!

This was a delightful story showcasing just how narrow-minded and fearful of knowledge high society could be. Sarah is shunned, because of a mistake two years prior and because she seeks to educate herself. But, she wants a husband. Jonathon is a well-respected member of society that makes a "gentleman's promise" to help Sarah redeem herself and find a suitable husband. In doing so, Sarah and Jonathon find themselves inexplicably drawn to one another. But, Jonathon also needs to fulfill a promise made to his deceased cousin. Marrying Sarah could ruin not only the plans he has been working so long and hard to see come to fruition, in honor of his cousin, but also ruin his good name in society. Sometimes, love isn't enough... or is it? *I received a complimentary ARC of this book from NetGalley & Entangled Publishing, LLC in order to read and provide a voluntary, unbiased and honest review, should I choose to do so.
