    Where are your sisters, Flavia

From the blurb about the book, I would hardly call it a spectacular end to the series. Mundane maybe. Flavia's sisters played vary minor roles in this book (Feely only appearing in the opening chapters and Daffy additionally only appearing in a later chapter. If this is truly the end of the series, I would have liked to see some indication of what Flavia becomes later in life. There are many little instances in the book that could have been hints to later books which does make me wonder if this truly is the last we see of Flavia.

    good

Flavia is her usual insouciant self. Really enjoyed the development of a professional expansion of the relationship of Dogger and Flavia.

    Loved it!

This a great mystery novel for young teenagers, especially those fascinated by chemistry and biology. Flavia de Luce's mystery serie continues with ever more intrigue and wonder.

    Not disappointed

Alan Bradley delivers another page turner. Flavia de Luce is the most enchanting character. Bradley can weave a tale like no one else.

    Disappointing

Although I am a fan of this series, this book was too much chemistry lesson and too little story line. The plot was rather labrynthine and the conclusion was unsatisfactory in its abruptness. I might, however, now be capable of passing a chem101 course in poisons.
