    Best of the series.

This is perhaps the best known, and my favourite, of the Narnia stories. From talking animals to Father Christmas to an evil Witch, the tale is full of wonder and magic, all of which us innocently accepted by the four young heroes,. This is the story one simply falls into and is there with them, as a silent observer, and yet a part of the story, too. Of course, as a morality tale it is lengthy and complex, but still accessible and meaningful for all ages.

    The True Beginning

This book starts off the main story that happens throughout the series. Narnia is covered in snow, cursed by eternal winter. A boy steps through a wardrobe into this magical world. It is quite good. Four stars

    Enter Narnia

When Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy find a magic wardrobe leads them to a new land, they also learn they hold the key to a prophecy that will end the eternal winter brought on by an evil witch. I first read this book in 3rd grade. I loved it then. I love it now. A magical story that captures the imagination.
