    Predictable

I liked the main caracter as well as the Vancouver setting. The story began strong but left me dissatisfied in the end. Too predictable.

    The lost ones

A good story, stories about lost adopted children will be published in the future. This story gets quite carried away, one minute in Vancouver then on a mountain top, why and what was the purpose of this. Then we had to deal with stem cell research and mining. I would think one add on would have been enough. Also a Japanese house was added. That was too much. Also our lady is hurt even shot, but can run, swim and save herself from the bad guys. If I was writing this, I would say the story could have bee interesting with fewer tragedies happening throughout. I will read the continuing series and try again.

    Great Read. Thought provoking.

Nice to read a book that takes place in Canada for a change. An interesting take on homelessness and corporate manipulation.

    Different

I enjoyed this book, main character was unusual, some elements a little far fetched but still very good book.

    Great Vancouver novel!

The main character has had a tough life and has developed a prickly personality as a result but it was this prickliness that was her most endearing quality. Highly recommended, especially for those looking for a taste of what Vancouver feels like.
