  • An interesting read!

Jackie finds what makes her happy, but it's takes much soul searching, shedding her marriage and contemplating suicide to get there. She finds her happy place in Paris and opening a bakery is what makes her happy, though when she invests, she goes all in, almost losing herself. She's some who, when she's in she's all in. She eventually finds that she doesn't have to lose herself to do what she loves.

  • Meh-

This reads like a cheap version of eat pray love. The writing style is not great, and while i usually like books in non-chronological order, the sequencing of the book hs not mastered storytelling and makes the story hard to follow. Kudos to the author for sharing her vulnerabilities, however, as far as literacy work goes, this book could have usedthe help of a professional writer.
