  • Christmas Read

A wonderful Christmas treat full of hope, love and forgiveness. Thank you Tami Roth for the suggestion. I can't wait to start The Walk.

  • So glad I read this!

The Mistletoe Promise is a standalone novel set during Christmas-time and is part of Richard Paul Evans's Mistletoe Collection. What started out as a simplistic, holiday-themed "let's do a pretend relationship" story quickly evolved into something much deeper. The plot change was completely unexpected and the overall message of the book was full of palpable emotions. One-dimensional characters were beautifully developed and their personal struggles brought tears to my eyes. I found The Mistletoe Promise to be a great Christmas book and I'm so glad I read it. My favorite quote: "It's been said that the Magi, wise men, gazed up into the night skies, following a star. But they were not looking for a star. They were looking for hope. Hope of a new world. Hope of redemption. Light is not found in dark places, and hope is not found looking down or looking back. May you always look up."

  • Heartwarming Christmas story.

Another charming, heartwarming Christmas story by the author of The Christmas Box. Elise Dutton, a lonely worker in a travel agency that is located in a high rise building, is approached by a lawyer who works in the same building. He comes with a contract, The Mistletoe Promise, that proposes that the 2 date platonically for 8 weeks so that neither will have to attend Christmas parties & events alone. Will a secret from Elise's past threaten any continuing relationship after the 8 week contract expires?

  • The Mistletoe Promise

I just got this book from my sister in USA and while I was phoning with her, she told me she will pass by a book for me, which I would truly enjoy to read and as I got the book and started reading it, I was so hooked up in the book that I just finished reading it in 3 days! The story is very captivating, very modern and relevant to the life what we now encounters. And I simply love the story and samely with the characters. It's a very unique story...and I was really amazed with this book. I simply recommend it!

This is by far the best book I have read in a long time. I could not put it down until I had finished reading it.
