    An Excellent Read

A heart-breaking period in history. The British Home Children and their stories of abuse and neglect is a shameful time that should never be forgotten. Parents and children ripped apart and separated by thousands of miles, most never to see one another again. This book nailed it exposing a tiny bit of the grief experienced by so many. Well done.

    Couldn’t put it down!

It started out slow but once I knew the characters i was hooked. I wanted so bad for a happy ending. But, you’ll have to read it to know for yourself! I rarely give 5⭐️

    Against all odds

This truly is a story that not only reflects the hardships, sorrow and loss of everyday living but it is an account of the devastating loss, emotional suffering and cruelty that snowballs as a consequence of war. Despite the impossible, it is a story of how people rose above the odds with strength of conviction, hope, the will to survive, forgiveness and unrelenting loyalties.
