    Not her best work

Emily has been a favourite author of mine forever but this book was a bit of a let down. Totally predictable from start to finish. Hard to connect with the lead character and not overly likeable.

    The One and Only

Initially a good premise, but overblown with sport information and unlikely scenarios. Introduction of estranged family into the mix appeared unlikely - and sudden reconciliation between father and daughter seemed unlikely - particularly with the issue of the age gap. Skipped over many pages.

    Not so good

I really loved the authors first two books but since then, her books are getting progressively worse in my opinion. Maybe if I was more into sports I would like it? She is supposed to be a chick lit writer, no need for so much football in a chick lit book!

    Too much football

I love Emily Griffin's woek but this book was way beyond my football knowledge and way more than I ever wanted to know about football. I felt that it ovwr shadowed the actual story and I would quick read past all the football references. The story is great I hust dont think this one was for me!

    Disappointed!

This book is 80% about football. I never read so much about the game and don't want to again. The characters and story took second place to Giffin's descriptions of the game and it's politics. Boring!
