    Feel Good Story

I was so excited to be back in Sweetbriar Cove, this time with Brooke and Riley. How does a girl put heartbreak behind her and try to find herself again? That is exactly what Brooke is trying to do. After experiencing such heartbreak, she decides to pack it all up and start fresh with no expectations of love. Well, enter Riley and watch the sparks fly!!! I really enjoyed the story as well as the character development. I also enjoyed having past characters in the story as well. This is another one to add to your list to read

    A feel good read!

The Only On his book three in the Sweetbriar Cove series. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend the whole series! These books are swoony, small town romances that just make you happy. They are feel good beach reads or anytime reads. If you like/love Hallmark or Lifetime movies than this is a perfect series for you. Brooke and Riley are attracted to each other and falling in love. They both have baggage they need to overcome to move forward together. Read The Only One and enjoy the journey they take to find happiness.

    3.5 Sunshine Stars

I’ve been a Melody Grace fan since the early Beachwood Bay days, loving how she conveys the small town chic in a warm, inviting book world. Grace has a unique hopefulness that underlies every story she writes effortlessly and that makes her books have that ‘welcome home’ vibe, reminding you of everything you missed during the withdrawals from her books. Riley is a sexy, intelligent man with a spirit for adventure and a heart still broken from his best friend’s betrayal. Living a free spirited, easy life between his sail boat and the pub he owns in Cape Cod, and all the no strings sex he has with beautiful tourists, anything that doesn’t mean he has to feel or risk getting hurt again. Then it happens. One night that changes his life forever. Brooke ran from her life in Chicago after a bad breakup and a betrayal she never saw coming, four months later she’s living in a small seaside town in Cape Cod, New England, running a quaint, picturesque hotel that reminded me of the Dragonfly in Gilmore Girls. Brooke is a workaholic, her dedication and ambition for the hotel the perfect distraction from the pain Archer caused. The guilt and pain she carries, the trust they violated, Brooke believes that giving other couples the perfect wedding for their happily ever after is her redemption. Her self loathing broke my heart, the angst level being intense to say the least. Then one day her best friend sets her up on a blind date. A disastrous, cringeworthy blind date that will have you wishing she was real so you could do the ‘emergency phone call’ conversation to get her the heck away. It’s that bad. Then she catches his eye. The one guy that makes her want to say screw her new rules on smooth talking guys and dating because her ‘Adonis’ would always be worth breaking those rules for. But can the pain of their past be laid to rest? Can they learn to trust another person again? And more than that, can they learn to trust themselves again? Or will their broken hearts stay broken and alone?
