  • A moving historical novel

The story of "The Paris Apartment" alternates between the early 1940's and 2017, when Aurelia Leclaire inherited the Paris apartment which had belonged to her grandmother, Estelle Allard. Inside the apartment Aurelia, aka Lia, discovered a number of paintings which she suspects are valuable. She hires art restorer Gabriel Seymour to check out the art, and together they work to uncover the truth about the art as well as the life of Aurelia's late grandmother. Aurelia and Gabriel's investigative efforts reveal information linking their families. A fascinating story.

  • A Beautiful War Story!

When Lia inherits her Grandmother's Paris apartment, she finds a treasure trove of art and a memory of person she didn't know at all! With the help of an art restoration specialist, they find a history beyond their wildest dreams. The story combines a narrative from war in the 40's to Lia's 2017 search for the owners of the art. This is a special story! Written by a MB author!

  • Beautifully written

I loved the book and so proud it was written by a Canadian. I felt as though Kelly made the characters so real I had feelings for all of them.

  • Women spies

Loved this for it'shistoric content and fast moving story line. It reminds us how much we owe to those brave women spies despite many of them doing the work after tremendous personal loss
