    Thanks for your feedback!

    Fantastic read

I fell in love with the characters in this book straight away, this is the story of Sadie McGinnis who has appeared in past books from the Dare River series and it has been worth the wait. This emotional story tells the tale of how Sadie finds the long lost half sister the family never knew they had and through her patchwork quilt work she develops a strong bond with her sister Paige and her family and introduces her to the rest of her family. She also gets the unexpected gift of meeting Paige’s next door neighbour Riley and his irresistible daughter who have also suffered their own heartbreak can they help each other heal their hearts. Keep a box of tissues handy because I cried through this book and couldn’t put it down. Ava Miles has certainly created another masterpiece of joy and sadness with the appearance of all the other characters from past Dare River books. “I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Lovely ending

"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own." What a wonderful way to wrap up the Dare River series! Throughout the series, I found myself drawn to Sadie. Her story turned out to be my favourite! I cried and laughed reading this book. The relationship between Sadie and her long lost sister felt honest and organic, as did her love story with Riley. The book brought us back wonderful Rye, and introduced us to some wonderful young characters and Paige's husband (I really liked him and his insights) and superhero references! I enjoyed the beauty in how Ava wrote about love, family and sisterhood - how complex and simple it can be - and how family can really be a patchwork of people we choose to love and let love us.

    Great read! Tears of happiness!

I loved it! Tears running down my face. This is a very good book. This is book 6 in the Dare River Series. This is the story of Sadie and Riley. Sadie is a quilter and works at a fabric store. Riley is a cartoon artist. The two meet by accident when Sadie decides she wants to meet her half sister, Paige. No one in Sadie's family has met Paige, as they just found our that their daddy had left their mama for another woman. Sadie goes to Paige's house and meets Riley, the next door neighbor, as he is watching Paige and Marks daughter Haley and his daughter Jess having a princess banquet. Sadie thought to invite Paige to a quilting class to make quilts for the NICU babies. Sadie shows the Princess quilt to Haley, Jess and Riley. She also shows other quilt pictures to the girls. Jess immediately starts match making Sadie and Riley. Fortunately, Riley does ask Sadie out for dinner. Paige decides to join the quilting group so that she can learn about her sister and the rest of her family. Riley is a single dad who has been raising his daughter by himself. Jess's mom decided she did not want to be pregnant and wanted to be a country music artist instead, leaving Riley to raise Jess alone. Riley has always worried that Jess's mom would come back and take his amazing daughter. But he was also worried how he would tell Jess about her mom. This book is about people who have been cast aside by their families. Those that have been pushed aside for drug use, for other men and missing or lacking the love and attention that was needed. This book is about healing and learning that you can be a super hero that makes quilts. It is about loving your family, every single person that is a part of your gene pool - even if they have a different parent. I received an ebook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: All conclusions are my own.

    Togetherness

It was nice to follow Rye and family through all the ups and downs, great to see how their relationship bloomed. I liked the ending when everyone was at dinner.
