    Kudos to Adam Croft!

Well, I was wrong when I thought I knew who did it! I am glad that I was wrong because my book would have been very boring. Kudos to Adam Croft to be able to write a short, fast pace, thrilling book. This is my second Adam Croft’s book. The first one I read, it was quite a few years ago however I found quite a distinctive progression in his storytelling. The Perfect Lie is about Amy, typical young mother who’s husband usually takes the kids out, every Saturday morning to their activity in order, to give Amy, time for herself. One Saturday though, her peaceful time is broken by 2 policemen come knocking at her door and her descent to hell begins. She is accused of murdering her father-in-law. The story has twists and turns. The one thing that bothered me in the book, is the fact that Amy’s husband never visited Amy while she was in jail. It not like Amy had been caught, red handed, with a gun or at the scene of the murder. This, lets me questioned their relationship. I even asked my husband what he would have done in this circumstance and he agreed with me. Having said that, I enjoyed the book, it is short and fast paced. If you like this type of book, “The Perfect Lie” is the one for you.

Perfect for fans of Gillian Flynn

A gripping, twisty psychological thriller that kept me turning the pages. Adam Croft keeps getting better and better.
