    ***5 ‘The Oreos’ Stars***

***5 ‘The Oreos’ Stars*** If you love the whole friends to lovers trope you are going to absolutely love this one. It’s a fun, quirky and snarky read with unique characters that is low on the angst and fill with a lot of heart. Once I dove in, I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next with Jay and Shelby and when everything was said and done, I was really happy, but really wanted there to be more words to read so I could see where the next stage of their journey would take them. I adored Jay and Shelby. Jay is a good guy who hasn’t fully stepped into the adulting realm, which I couldn’t totally understand. He’s laid back, funny and despite some of his short comings, a sweetheart and then there is Shelby. Shelby is...unique, and there is a part of me that wants to tell all, but she is someone you need to experience in all her quirky, unique and at times extreme glory. As for their friends to lovers journey. I honestly loved how everything played out with them. There was no doubt they were best friends, and I loved their interactions, they had me rolling my eyes and cracking up constantly, but I also got why they were both hesitant to “go there” with being more than. Their hang ups were real, but so was the fact that if they did take that next step that they’d be awesome together and they were. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them take those first steps and loved how everything worked out for them in the end. This really was a fun read filled with all the things that I’ve come to love about this author: quirky, but well written characters, humor, snark ~ sometimes OTT (though not so OTT in this one) ~ but always funny, and just the right amount of smexyness to make things heat up, while staying true to who the characters are. As for the supporting cast of characters, I loved Brie, Sean and both Jay and Shelby’s familys, but Gram definitely takes the cake. She was awesome! So if you’re looking for a quick, fun friends to lovers read, this is a definite must read! ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

    The best Rom Com

I really love books that make you laugh, have crazy characters and beautiful friends and family. Without word of a lie this was a fantastic entertaining story that brought to home how wonderful really good relationships/ friendships are. How important it is to tell the relevant person how much they mean to you. I really loved this book! The characters came across as very real and it was wonderful reading how their friendship progressed. I'd love friends like that. Easy to talk to but also to have a laugh with. Everyone needs someone like that in their lives. That's all I'm going to say. Such a fantastic Rom com that will make you laugh and want to keep reading forever!

    A fun read

Emma Hart does it again with this fun, entertaining romantic comedy! As with all of her books, I find myself shaking with laughter at the banter between Jay and Shelby. Jay, while super sweet, is the worst roommate ever. The complete opposite of his best friend and author, Shelby. She is organized and clean while Jay leaves his dirty socks in the shower (yuck!) and, perhaps that worst crime of all - eats all of her Oreos! How can these two coexist together without Shelby killing him? Hence, the roommate agreement! What happens though when these two start to develop feelings for each other? This book is told from a dual POV which I love because I enjoyed getting into the minds of both of these hilarious characters. I also loved Jay’s Gram and their friends, Sean and Brie. This author always has the ability to create fun storylines with quirky characters and always leaves me laughing to the point of crying. The Roommate Agreement is a fast paced, humorous roommate / friends-to-lover romance with fun, likable, and well-developed characters. I received this book for free.

    Awesome friends to lovers!

4.5☆ Jay and Shelby both belong on the hot mess express and I love it! These two are such perfect best friends, they have the kind of friendship where you can endlessly poke and tease one another, but at the end of the day you are still best friends. I love seeing how being roomates tested them in many ways and that it never broke their friendship. Jay especially knows Shelby so well and truly understands her and how she feels, maybe better than she may at times. I love the sexual tension that built up through out the books. These two are so much fun and so entertaining together. Their story is cute and so uniquely them. Loved it!

    Love this story!

If you are looking for a light hearted fast paced romance, look no further than Emma Hart! The Roommate Agreement is the story of lifelong friends Jay and Shelby.  Circumstances cause Jay to become "temporary" roommates with Shelby.  Let the hijinks begin! From quirkinesses and dirty socks to the Big Bang Theory.  Jay and Shelby just fit.  They smooth each others edges and embrace the differences that they each bring to their friendship and romance. I enjoyed the friendship aspect of Jay and Shelby.  Even when nobody else could understand Shelby, Jay could.  Even when Jay would drive Shelby nuts with his lack of adulting they just fit! Loved the secondary characters! They brought even more hilarity to the story! I always enjoy an Emma Hart book when I need some thing fun, light and full of romance! I cannot wait to see what she comes out with next!
