Sometimes an idea is not worth a second run

Having worked with academically talented youth for many years, I very much enjoyed The Rosie Project. You definitely grew to love his 'Sheldon-like' character. However, The Rosie Effect seemed to lack those endearing and humorous narrative tidbits. Instead this novel becoming quite boring, quite quickly. The whole plot seems to contradict any growth our professor made in The Rosie Project. Instead of making us love Rosie, we are given a character with weak underlying motivation caught in a marriage that is just plan blah. Please, no third installment.

    Laughed out loud

I usually do not find sequels as good as the original books but this one is an exception. The characters are very well drawn, even the minor ones.

    Wonderfully adorabke

I was reluctant in reading the sequel to a book that had an ending and a happy one at that. However, this book was so cute and yet very interesting. It is a difficult combination to achieve, but Graeme definitely did.

    Great second book

The story continues as Rosie becomes pregnant and Don learns how to process . Most enjoyable just like The ROSIE EFFECT.

    The Rosie Effect

No disappointment as a sequel to "The Rosie Project"!!! It was as just as funny, just as touching and I fell in love with Don Tillman all over again!! This romance is one for the ages and a definite must read!
