    Pee in your pants laughter!

First, this book is a lot of laughs. Imagine the worst, most embarrassing things that could happen to someone publicly, and this book has it. Shock Jogger… best scene ever. Even better when the Prince watched it. I about peed in my pants I was laughing so hard on that scene. Tessa, the female protagonist, is intelligent and comes from an intelligent family—her brothers are engineers to dentists. However, she finds herself in the most embarrassing situations, from saying the wrong thing to her heel breaking during a ball. Hence, she is the joke of the family, and I will say the way Tessa’s family treated her was just appalling. She really had to grow some thick skin to deal with her family, which in turn helped her when she humiliated herself on world-wide television. Prince Arthur, the male protagonists, invites Tessa to spend two months with the royal family since she is their worst critic and he needs to get her to change her opinion or the family is going to get booted from the crown and the monarch will dissolve. Of course, you can garner what happens when a man and woman live together for any period of time. As a couple, they were truly adorable. They both have a great sense of humor, and Arthur especially is a dream. For a man not be offended whenever someone says something negative about them speaks volumes of his character. In fact, he encouraged it because it only helped him realize his flaws, and he learned to grow from them. Truly loved Arthur. Oh, and Arthur’s grandmum was a real hoot! OMG, this woman was just as hilarious as Tessa’s faux pas. A dowager princess, she lived her life being prim and proper, but now in her 80s, she decides screw it and says and does whatever fancies her. It’s ridiculously entertaining. She is a top favorite character. I see that Summers is writing another book on the Tessa and Arthur. After witnessing how she can easily gut you in this book and reading the synopsis, I’m going to have to take a long break before reading that one. Though it is sure to be full of even more laughs, the synopsis is foreboding and makes me want to shy away from it. I can only take so much drama at once. 4.5 Stars

Loved it. Could not stop reading it. There was a little bit of everything, romance, funny and political.

    Beautifully funny

This story is beautifully written. You will laugh, cry, get mad and feel vindicated along side the main characters. Not to mention many will relate to the experiences depicted in this book. Because no matter our social status, we are all human. This book will brighten your day!
