A fitting end to the "Promise Falls" trilogy

"The Twenty-Three" completes Linwood Barclay's trilogy about the town of Promise Falls, New York. Strange things plagued Promise Falls through the first two books in this series, and now Barclay, in "The Twenty-Three" concludes the story by linking the plots of the three books. I found this book a quick and entertaining read. The surprises along the way definitely kept my attention!

    Twenty three

A page turner . Suspenseful to the very end. Many strings tied up from previous books. Cannot wait for the next one.

    Never disappointed with Barclay's stories!

Duckworth is becoming one of my favourite characters. He's flawed but he's human. Supporting characters are like people I know and Barclay makes them easy to like, even when they do bad things. A very enjoyable read!

    Last pages were good

Many characters to keep track of. Became more engaged towards the end. I have read all three books, but best to read them in sequence within a month of each other to reap the best impact.
