    Amazing

Another emotion filled book from Jeannie Moon!! The story, the writing, and the secondary characters are all exceptional but what makes this one unforgettable are the core characters of Mia, Ben, and Adam. You can just feel the chemistry and depth of feeling they have for each other. Mia and Adam are both people looking for a fresh start after life served them up some pretty hard times. They never give up even though their journey to their HEA is bumpy. This is truly an amazing read and one I will be recommending to everyone.

I was hit with this book from Jeannie. This is a real heartbreaker! Mia really got hit. This is set in Long Island. Grab this book and go for a ride! Mia has only made home recently with Ben. She is his Guardian as Mia's sister is dead and she took him in. Major Spoiler! Ben is mad that she won't let him play sports. Mia is a librarian in the College Library. She meets Adam on the football field. He tells her that boys need sports, not books. She lets Adam give jobs for her. Mia is hit by Adam! Adam is falling for Mia. They set up a date . BUT, he meets an old friend and forgets her. She dumps him immediately and now goes with Noah, a professor. Adam is jealous! Major Spoiler! Mia is working to get Ben adopted! Adam takes Ben to his baseball game Major Spoiler! This is where everything goes haywire. Grab your tissues and enjoy this story. You will walk away a lot in this book! Enjoy reading this book! I volunteered to read and review this book.

Allowing yourself to be loved helps.

A bittersweet love story about how Mia, a single woman who is guardian to her 10-year-old nephew Ben, overcomes the challenges of being a single parent while trying to build a life for herself and her ward. In all the time that she has cared for Ben, she neglects herself, her dreams, he needs. Moving to Compass Cove allows her to re-evaluate the direction in which her life is headed. Never having been appreciated for whatever she has done and being constantly berated by her mother, she lacks confidence. But she plans to take charge of her life, allow Ben to be who he wants to me and maybe live and love a little as she pleases. Adam, on the other hand, has lived life in the fast lane and has crashed, burned and has now recovered. Leaving behind his life as an NFL player, he now coaches football. He has never loved anyone, but the attraction that he has felt for Mia from the first time he saw her, makes him realize that she is probably the only woman that he will ever need in his life from here on out. But the wary Mia can sense the danger of letting him get too close even though their chemistry is off the charts. And now that she's determined to adopt Ben, she needs to think about his well-being before herself. Adam may be great with Ben on the field but she'd not sure whether he'd be as great with her heart. Charming

I loved this sweet, endearing small town story with its wonderful cast of colorful characters. It is a heartwarming and emotional tale with masterful storytelling and the two main characters stole my heart with their vulnerability and passion. Mia DeAngelis has just started her new position as a college librarian at Jennings college. When she accepts the job, she and her ten year old nephew move from the big city to small town Compass Cove. Mia is her nephew’s guardian and she is trying to find a better quality of life for both of them. Adam Miller is the college football coach at Jennings. Adam was a professional football player but he lost everything with his wild behavior and bad decisions. He is now trying to get his life back on track and make amends for his past selfishness. Adam and Mia are immediately drawn to each other but they have to constantly fight their insecurities. I love the interactions and dialogue between Adam and Mia. There is so much chemistry sparking between them as they maneuver the dating world with the whole town watching. Adam worries he will mess everything up and hurt Mia. He has never had a relationship or cared about a woman before meeting Mia. Mia hasn't dated much and isn't sure what Adam could possible see in her. Mia doesn't realize she makes Adam a better person and she has so many wonderful qualities. She is sweet, innocent and nerdy and at twenty nine, has been responsible for her nephew for years. Adam is a rugged, macho guy, but he is out of his element with love, relationships and his feelings towards Mia. I fell in love with Adam myself and found him charming, fun and protective.

    Loved it!

I enjoyed this feel-good romance on so many levels - Jeannie Moon's characters are realistic and down-to-earth, the storyline is emotional and heartwarming. I felt an affinity to Mia's nephew Ben as right off the bat he reminded me of my own son who's a similar age. I loved the grandmothers and hope to see them as a common thread in future books in the series. All in all a good read.
